Susie created this lino print in homage to a favourite tree, along the lane from her home. The mire is a boggy path, made impassable in winter months by the hooves of the cattle that roam free on the commonland of the Gloucestershire village she lives in. The natural springs, combined with the cattle, make the hilly path a challenge, but this lovely tree at the end is a welcome reward for braving it.
This signed artwork is lino printed by hand, on 120gsm printmaking paper, in a dark red/brown non-toxic ink.
Two framed versions of this print are available (with a mount and natural oak frame measuring 23cm width x 29.5cm height). Unmounted, unframed prints will be made available too, soon.
