'Rosehip & Hawthorn' framed artwork

In a celebration of the beautiful flowers and rosehips that grow along the wall of my aunt's garden, I created a lively, colourful pattern that has also become fabric, named Rosa. Framed here with a tiny Hawthorn leaf that caught my eye, the two make a joyful pairing.

This is a limited edition artwork from an edition of just eight prints in these colours. Further prints may be taken from these lino blocks in different colours, outside of this edition, in the future.

This one colour Hawthorn Leaf lino print in yellow ochre is mounted against the rosehip pattern in green, reds, and yellow. The designs are printed on 100% cotton rag paper, which is acid free and is made from recycled fibres from the textile trade. The artwork is framed in a wooden box frame with glazing, which has been stained and sanded for a distressed look. The frame measures 24cm x 24cm, with the artwork sitting within that (the pattern print is approximately 16cm x 16cm, and the top print 6m x 7.5cm). The print will be signed before sending.

No two prints will be exactly the same, and may differ slightly from the image shown. This is because printing by hand is not exact. Please expect 'imperfections'... I think it is these unique results that makes lino printing special. Your artwork will be one of a kind!
