'Wild Rose' in blue, Giclée Print

Wild Rose was inspired by a clump of wild roses on the commonland where we live; the rosehips like jewels in the grass and the flowers like beacons of light. It began life as a very large lino block. Having letterpress printed the dark blue ink, I then hand painted colour into the leaves, rosehips and flowers. The original artwork was then high resolution scanned before reproducing them as high quality Giclée prints, on 290gsm Hahnemühle Bamboo sustainable paper. Printed in the UK.
