'Willow' Tea Towel

In our garden a Goat Willow tree provides us with some welcome shade in the summer, and has also been home to a tree house and a trapeze... so it has served us very well. I found myself drawing and carving it into this pattern amongst arches; a motif that occassionally pops up in my work as if I am worshiping the nature that I draw around the arched shapes. Willow trees, in many forms, feature heavily in the work I am inspired by from the Arts and Crafts movement, so I am glad to pay homage here. 

This tea towel is screenprinted, but originally it was a lino block I carved and printed by hand.

Made in the UK on unbleached, natural, 100% cotton. They have a hanging loop sewn into the seam.

Ideally wash at 30° and avoid tumble drying to increase the life of your tea towel. Do not use bleach clean. Iron at a medium heat. Thank you!
