William Morris lino stamps
This set of lino blocks were commissioned for use in the 'Learning Barn' at Kelmscott Manor, William Morris' country home. I worked from motifs found in fabrics, wallpapers, hangings and tiles on display in the Manor; some well known, and others more subtle. These are now used by visitors, young and old, via workshops or drop-in printing sessions, on offer during open days at the Manor.
To demonstrate the blocks I couldn't resist printing up multiple combinations of blocks into patterns. The possibilities are endless!
